I started running again in April. It was tough, but I kept up with it. Even through all the blisters (why I keep getting a blister on the little toe on my left foot I don't know,) the chafed nipples (yeah, it's happening!) and hurting muscles, I'm still doing it.

Yesterday I hit my first six miler since August of 2011 (when I ran a half marathon.)

Okay - a slight digression. I have all of my runs logged (just like I'm doing now.) I basically stopped running in June of 2012 and to discover the last time I saw a six mile run was in August of 2011 is shocking.

And I'm back.

Since April, I've almost logged 400 miles. In fact, I should hit the 400 mile mark on Wednesday. Exactly seven months since I started running again. I'm averaging a little over 3 miles a run which is kind of a faulty statistic because I'm running longer distances now than I was back then. And I'm getting faster. Baby steps right?

Even though it's only November, I do have running goals for 2018. One, I want to start paying myself $1.00 for ever mile I run. This was something that I used to do back in the day. It helped pay for shoes and for races. And two, speaking of races, I want to enter some races in 2018. Start out with a 5k and go from there.

Life has been a little better recently. Admittedly things still aren't all that super awesome, but I'm doing the best that I can.

Well, whatever motivation I had when I started this is gone, so I'm going to end this entry before it gets too unreadable.
